David's friend has a leather shop where he makes saddles and other tack
He made the chaps and saddle bags that are in the corner of this picture too
A brown black bear meandering along the road on our way to go hiking. Because where we were were was part of the Flathead Indian reservation we all had to get permits to hike. It was well worth it of course!
The mission reservoir
These are some pictures from our hike. The water is crazy and wild. One slip and you'd be toast.
That is the trail right there. And yes, it goes straight down on the opposite side. Later we learned that 6 people were killed on this trail. I'm glad I didn't know that beforehand.
Mission falls. It was about two miles of pretty steep trails and that was only half way to the Mission Lake which we didn't make it to. And the trail to the lake is way steeper than the trail we hiked. We realized what wimpy little easterners we are. :/:/

Bea, I know you would have LOVED this toad. It was the biggest one we've ever seen as big as Micah's hand.

Then we went to Kerr Dam ner Flathead Lake
This was the most beautiful part of Montana we had ever seen. 
It is 54 ft higher than Niagara Falls which you can read down below. No clue why the water is green.

Was that really real??!
Can you belive we actually came back?It was hard. But we did it. We made ourselves come back east
A farmer and rancher's paradise 
We even drove inbetween a bullfight. (or would have been bullfight if not for 2 barbed wire fences)
And lastly, the public school.Yup, Montana is the place to be. We miss it very much and are dreaming some very big dreams.
(There's this 50,000 acre ranch that runs 1,300 head and they need a ranch manager....)
