Havin' A Good Time!

Tuesday night on our way back from New York we decided it would be fun to stop in and see some friends from church that lived close to the thruway so we did...and surprised them just as they were sitting down to dinner!(oops!) They very sweetly expanded their dinner and their table to accommodate us and we enjoyed a very fun evening together, talking, playing games and taking pictures.:)
Here Amy and Melanie are in the middle of the "Two Sentences" game. (If you want to know how it is played...check out the Anderson's Blog!) As you can see by Amy's face, this is not her sort of game!

Melanie...thinking...

Me blind-folding Bethany for....Ducky Wucky!!! What a crazy game but very fun!!!

At the Creek

Yesterday we went to take lunch to the boys. After lunch Mom had to go to the store so Juli, me, Jo & Nathan went the creek but we were not allowed to get wet.

Stampin' Up Party

A couple weeks ago(we should've put these pix on then) we had a Stampin' Up Party at our house with a couple friends and neighbors. We learned some good ideas and also each of us got to make a card which was fun!

Mom and Jo making their cards.

More card making...:)

The lady that does these stampin' up parties made this cute but simple little basket.

Amy was going crazy with the camera so Kayla and I took refuge behind a stamping catalog!

I know its kind of soon to do another post but...
Yesterday was so beautiful! Blue sky, bright sun,76 degrees...perfect!

Our 4-H Projects

Another 4-H year is here at our house so this past week we have been getting the last of our projects and skill-a-thons. We picked up our turkeys yesterday(Yes we are actually showing turkeys, hee, hee! I have no idea how you do it either!) and now they are in our living room. For now. We will move them outside to the tackroom hopefully soon but they have to be in temp. of 95 F.-105. so we figured if we didn't want them to die on us we'd better put them in the house with a trouble light so that's where they are.

This little turkey dude did not want to cooperate for a picture. :)

A nice pile of turkeys. We ordered 15 so we have extra incase some decide to croak on us.

Our Dairy Feeders for the Homes County Fair in August-taking their morning nap!

They're so photogenic! From L to R-Mine,Kayla's,Joanna's and Micah's.
It is SO fun showing Dairy Feeders! I'm looking forward to this coming fair year! By the time of the fair they should weigh about 600-700 lbs.

Micah is showing a pig this year from his own piggie's litter!
This is how they like to sleep-in one big pile!
Two curious piglets! I think they're cute!

And last but not least...(Although she's not a 4-H project)my Shetland pony Treasure. I thought she was too cute not to put on here! :):)
